The Deputy Premier will meet all of Ta Ann Tasmania's consumers on his trade mission to Asia in an energy to revitalise the forestry sector.

Bryan Green's eight-day itinerary includes supper with Ta Ann's chairman and chief executive in Japan, and the company's consumers the following day.

Ta Ann Tasmania has blamed anti-logging groups for a 50 for every cent drop in its exports to China, and final week stood down forty mill workers.

Mr Green says he will be promoting the federally-funded forest peace deal to end most native forest logging in the state.

I will be impressing on these consumers that the govt is committed to see the IGA procedure by means of.

The Opposition Leader, Will Hodgman, is joining the trade mission but Mr Green says he will not be social gathering to the Ta Ann conferences.
